2010 CFA Day Forum
The 2nd Annual CFA Day Forum was held in Washington, DC July 15–16, 2010. The IHFA is a founding member of the CFA (Coalition of Franchisee Associations). IHFA board member Dave Glodowski is the current Chairman of the CFA.
The goal of CFA Day is to “Associate, Collaborate and Advocate” on behalf of all the franchisee associations who make up the CFA. Currently, the CFA has 8 franchisee associations, which include Burger King, Subway, Buffalo Wild Wings, Pizza Hut, Mieneke Muffler, Super Cuts, Dunkin Donuts and of course Hardee’s®.
The highlight of CFA Day was spending Friday morning on Capitol Hill talking to Congress men and woman about current issues facing small business owners.
Guest speakers of this year’s program were Columnist George Will, retired TV news reporter Sam Donaldson, and Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts. Click here to view the government relations power point which includes some more information about CFA Day.
